Classroom Loves Linky

Hi friends! I'm so excited to link up with some of my friends and share some of the things we are loving in my classroom right now!

First...here's something I am loving right now! Our math specialist reminded me about this website that I heard about a few years ago! We use Math Investigations at my school and these games align perfectly with what we are doing. I love it because its something they can easily do at home that aligns with our curriculum. Parents love when I send them new websites, and I love when they can practice things at home!

My kiddos LOVE read-alouds. I'm curious if you have had the same experience but usually my most challenging classes love read-alouds the most! This group in particular is WILD but they will seriously listen for hours if I read to them. They might shout out a few times with their connections or predictions, haha! Here's some of our favorite books from the past few weeks!

And finally...something we ALL love! I LOVE these phonics charts and so do they! They use them ALL THE TIME during Writer's Workshop and we go over them during Guided Reading! They are perfect for quick review at the beginning of each GR session...especially my tutoring groups. :) Click the picture to grab your copy!!

I hope you'll head over to Primary Powers and link up! I can't wait to hear what you and your sweet friends are loving!!

  1. My kids love to listen to read-alouds too. It always amazes me how they will sit so still for that. :) Your charts are so cute! Where did you get them?

  4. Read aloud time has always been a favorite for my kiddos!! And honestly, I love it because I get to sit for 5 minutes instead of standing and moving all around! :) Thanks for linking up, friend!!

  5. My class and I love our read aloud time too. Even though they are a wiggly bunch this year, they are so engaged during our read aloud time. I love your sound chart posters.
